Building Corporate Training Standards & L&D Community of Practice

As learning responsibilities grew across departments, UCare needed consistent corporate training processes, standards, and tools to maintain quality and alignment.


My Role
Lead for developing processes and tools to support enterprise and corporate training, and a key partner to other L&D specialists.

Actions

  • Defined standard corporate training processes, roles, and documentation—including a trainer handbook, best-practice maps, and a single source of truth for L&D processes

  • Built relationships and mentored L&D specialists in other departments on how to use corporate standards

  • Supported SharePoint site development and ongoing onboarding and role-based training

  • Actively contributed to the L&D Community of Practice and corporate DEIA and development initiatives

Impact

  • Increased consistency and quality across corporate training

  • Strengthened partnerships with leaders and trainers outside the L&D department

  • Laid the foundation for future growth and expansion by aligning training processes and expectations
